This week all of the top brands are back for a fresh delivery of new releases. Although nothing this quite matches the magnitude of the initial release of the first five sneakers from Virgil Abloh's "The Ten" collection with Nike from last week, there is still plenty of solid pairs releasing across the board.
Nike's biggest release of the week is arguably its latest shoe with long-time collaborator Undefeated. The Undefeated x Nike Air Max 97 will be releasing exclusively through Undefeated's retail location, and online store before receiving a wider release next Saturday. The Swoosh is also dropping a big collaboration in the basketball realm this weekend as well with a special colorway of the Nike Kyrie 3. It is inspired by the "Bruce Lee" Kobe 5, a shoe Kyrie wore playing in the Nike Extravaganza in California when he was 17. The shoe features the same yellow, black, and red colorway as its inspiration, a fusion of Kyrie and Kobe's logos on the tongue in red, and also red slash marks by the toe on the lateral side.
Nike Basketball is also dropping a new colorway of its React Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit model. This pair features a royal Flyknit upper, and Nike's React cushioning in the midsole. A royal blue and white rendition of Paul George's signature model, the PG 1, will also be hitting shelves this weekend.
In the lifestyle category, Nike is dropping a new fall-ready ivory and mars stone colorway of its Air Force 1 hybrid model, the SF Air Force 1 Mid. It will also be releasing a tonal "Light Bone" pair of the retro basketball silhouette turned lifestyle shoe, the Air More Uptempo, as well as the first of four shoes from its Latino Heritage Month Collection, an Air Max 1 collaboration with Chilean artist Wasafu.
This weekend's retro release from Jordan Brand is a brand new Air Jordan VIII that utilizes the popular "Bred" color scheme. JB will also be dropping its latest GS-exclusive "Heiress" pack, which includes an Air Jordan V, Air Jordan 1, and Air Jordan 1 Low all dressed in black and olive uppers with gold accents.
Adidas is debuting a new low top version of its Tubular Doom Primeknit model in various colors this week. The brand is also releasing two colorways of the classic Atlanta running model that will be exclusive to the European boutique size?.
In the collaboration space, we have a two shoe collaboration between Puma and Solebox inspired by champagne, as well as a collab between Clot and Converse that takes inspiration from the ancient Chinese art of Tai Chi.
