With only a few weeks left in 2017, every brand is making some of its last offerings of the year. Featured this week are releases from Ewing Athletics, Adidas, Jordan Brand, and Nike. Included in the mix are collaborations, new Yeezys, and a pair of Air Jordan retros that is finally releasing after years of speculation.
The releases start on Wednesday with a luxurious collaboration between Rick Ross and Ewing Athletics on the 33 Hi inspired by his MMG label, and a new Adidas sneaker for James Harden designed by students from Oregon's footwear design school Pensole Academy.
On Thursday, Jordan Brand releases a new premium Air Jordan V covered in bordeaux leather, Nike is dropping its first Air Foamposite One exclusively in women's sizing, and also debuting another new iteration of the Vapormax with an all-black, perforated nubuck upper. Germany's Overkill is releasing a super limited run of the Nike Plattenbau Dunk inspired by German architecture on Thursday as well exclusively at its shop.
Friday, Nike drops a bright, volt green pair of Paul George's signature model, the PG 1, and Adidas debuts its latest silhouette inspired by its '90s archive, the Adidas Prophere.
A day later, a Prophere collaboration is already scheduled to release between Adidas and L.A.'s UNDFTD that reinterprets the model with the shop's frequently used military theme. Finishing off the weekend of releases are the "Blue Tint" Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2, and the Air Jordan VI "Gatorade" inspired by MJ's time endorsing the brand throughout his legendary career.

Rick Ross x Ewing 33 Hi 'MMG'

What You Need to Know: Rick Ross has collaborated with Ewing Athletics for his own pair of the 33 Hi. This collab gives the basketball model a luxurious feel with its all black suede upper, ostrich leather on the toe and heel, red inner lining, gum bottom, and gold hits on the strap and eyelets. Of course, the logo of Ross' Maybach Music Group label is stitched in gold on the heel as well.
Adidas Harden Pensole Academy

What You Need to Know: The latest Adidas shoe for NBA superstar James Harden was designed by students at Oregon's footwear design school Pensole Academy. This brand new design is similar to the Harden Vol. 1, but makes minor tweaks to the upper like an extended leather overlay and higher ankle collar. It also replaces the Boost cushioning used in the midsole of the Harden Vol. 1 with the more affordable Bounce cushioning system. This sneaker is a result of a design contest held by Pensole Academy, the winner of which received a job at Adidas.
Air Jordan V Premium 'Bordeaux'

What You Need to Know: The latest premium iteration of the Air Jordan V is covered is completely covered in bordeaux leather. Other accents include a milky, translucent outsole, and quilted, vachetta tan leather inner lining.
WMNS Nike Air Foamposite One 'Dark Stucco'

What You Need to Know: This release of the Nike Air Foamposite One marks the first time the sneaker is being released exclusively in women's sizing. It sports an iridescent green Foamposite upper, grey accents, and a translucent outsole.
Nike Air Vapormax LTR

What You Need to Know: Nike continues to introduce new variations of the Vapormax. The latest version features a perforated, black nubuck upper, and black Air unit. Instead of the usual Swoosh branding on the side panels, a small Swoosh is debossed on each heel.
Nike Plattenbau Dunk

What You Need to Know: This limited Nike Dunk is inspired by German architecture, and being exclusively released at German boutique Overkill. The namesake of this pair is a type of housing commonly used in German cities. Limited to only 240 pairs worldwide, it has a grey upper, laser-etched panels, special insoles, and "D85" and "D17" debossed on the left and right heels, respectively. Another detail is the "D85" and "D17" embroidered in gold on each heel to symbolize the debut year of the Dunk silhouette (1985), and release of this pair (2017). The aglets display the words "Traum" and "Tristesse," which translate to "dream" and "sadness" in German.
Nike Air Max 1 'Obsidian'

What You Need to Know: Another OG colorway of the Air Max 1 is making a return. The "Obsidian" color scheme has a white mesh and grey suede with obsidian blue suede hits on the Swoosh and mud guard. Other accents include red hits on the eyelets, as well as the tongue and heel branding.
Soulland x Nike SB 'FRI.day part 0.2' Collection

What You Need to Know: Danish menswear brand Soulland has created two Nike SBs, a Dunk Low and Dunk High, dubbed the "FRI.day part 0.2" collection. Each pair has a deconstructed upper design that mixes suede and tumbled leather.The Dunk High utilizes a cream and tan colorway with royal blue accents on the tongue and unconventional Jewel Swoosh on the side panel. The Dunk Low opts for a black upper with white piping on the forefoot, a royal blue Swoosh embroidered on the toe box, and lacks traditional, big Swoosh branding on the side panels.

Nike PG 1 'Tennis Ball'

What You Need to Know: Paul George's first signature has been given a makeover more suited for a different court. This PG 1 sports an all-volt upper with tennis ball suede side panels, and mesh on the toe box and inner bootie. Contrast comes from the black Swoosh outline, and volt-speckled, white midsole.
Adidas Prophere

What You Need to Know: Adidas is debuting a brand new silhouette this week. The Prophere is inspired by the brand's '90s aesthetics. A Primeknit upper with a similar shape to the popular Ultra Boost model sits on top of a chunky, white midsole. Another standout feature of the Prophere is its large, Three Stripes lacing system. The debut colorway features a black, grey, and solar red Primeknit upper, black Three Stripes, solar red accents, and a white midsole.
UNDFTD x Adidas Prophere

What You Need to Know: Just a day after the official retail debut of the Adidas Prophere, the model's first collaboration is dropping. L.A.'s UNDFTD has crafted a military-themed pair with a brown, olive green, and black tiger camouflage Primeknit upper, translucent TPU Three Stripes lacing system and heel cup, special UNDFTD branding down each tongue, a black midsole, and olive green outsole.
Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Blue Tint'

What You Need to Know: Yeezy Season continues. This week's drop of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is the "Blue Tint" colorway. It sports a blue tint and grey-striped Primeknit upper, blue tint midsole, and red "SPLY-350" text. Like all Adidas Yeezy release before it, this one will be hard to get.
Air Jordan VI 'Gatorade'

What You Need to Know: After months of speculation and anticipation, the Air Jordan VI "Gatorade" is finally hitting retailers. This pair uses the same color blocking as the popular "Carmine" Air Jordan VI, but replaces all of the carmine red panels with orange. This official collaboration with Gatorade is inspired by MJ's time endorsing the iconic sports drink throughout his career, and even features the brand's signature lightning bolt logos and a lace lock made to look like the green and orange Gatorade sports bottle commonly seen on the sidelines at professional sporting events.
