Thus far, the opportunity to purchase Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant’sNike Ja 1 has been few and far between, but it looks like the brand could be preparing to launch the sneaker on a larger scale soon.
Just moments ago, Nike gave select SNKRS members exclusive access to the “Scratch” Ja 1. The sneaker was also available in Salt Lake City for this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend via a special pop-up dubbed 12Skii, which was constructed in the shape of the silhouette.
Longtime Grizzlies fans may recognize this “Scratch” color scheme as it is inspired by the franchise’s throwback jerseys. The shoe wears a turquoise-based hue and features various scratch marks throughout the shoe.
A wider release of this “Scratch” Nike Ja 1 has yet to be announced by the brand, but keep it locked to Sole Collector for official updates in the coming weeks.
