As the official start of summer rolls in, this weekend is packed with quality sneaker releases. The most anticipated release is the return of Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Zebra," a colorway that originally released in very limited numbers back in February.
Nike is releasing the N7 Collection, which includes the Kyrie 3, Air Flight Huarache Ultra and two pairs of Sock Darts. The Swoosh is also dropping the Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit Racer, the "Triple Black" Air VaporMax and the Air Zoom Chalapuka.
This weekend is also bringing in a handful of collaborations. John Elliott teams up with NikeLab to release Vandal Highs that were first seen at NYFW. Pigalle and NikeLab provide a high-end take on Dennis Rodman's Air Shake NDestrukt with two colorways. NYC-based chef David Chang and Nike SB are releasing the "Momofuku" SB Dunk High Pro. Boston's Bodega and Asics are releasing a death-inspired sneaker with the Gel-Mai "Underground." Alltimers and Vans are giving fans two space-age themed Old Skools. Lastly, Titolo and New Balance are releasing the summer-inspired "Deep into the Blue" 247.

Nike N7 Collection

What You Need to Know: In celebration of Native American and Aboriginal heritage, the latest Nike N7 Collection includes the Kyrie 3, Air Flight Huarache Ultra and Sock Darts for men and women. Each sneaker uses a white, black and yellow color combination inspired by the culture. Proceeds from the collection supports the N7 fund and its commitment to help organizations provide sport and physical activity programming to Native American and Aboriginal communities across North America.

Nike Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit Racer

What You Need to Know: Inspired by the 1988-designed Nike Air Mariah and 2012-designed Flyknit Racer, the Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit Racer is blend of modern technology and classic styling. The sneakers utilize an adaptive Flyknit upper, Brio cables and a responsive Air Zoom cushioning, while paying homage to the 80s runner with the original White/Hyper Purple colorway.
Nike Air VaporMax "Triple Black"

What You Need to Know: With every colorway of the Nike Air VaporMax selling out since its debut on this year's Air Max Day, the upcoming "Triple Black" colorway will be an undeniable hit. Nike's innovative runner features a black Flyknit upper set on top of a black VaporMax unit.
John Elliott x NikeLab Vandal High Collection

What You Need to Know: After hitting the runway back in February for New York Fashion Week, the John Elliott x NikeLab Vandal High Collection is finally releasing. Coming in Sail and Anthracite colorways, the sneakers feature premium suede uppers, leather tongues, and tri-color straps. Both pairs are completed with white soles.

Bodega x Asics Gel-Mai "Underground"

What You Need to Know: Building off of the concept of life and subsequent death, the Bodega x Asics "Underground" collaboration uses the Gel-Mai silhouette, a '90s performance model designed to suggest the dynamism of human movement. The sneakers use a vibrant orange suede to represent life in contrast to a black, white and beige upper replicating bones, conveying the message that no matter who you are in life, everyone becomes a skeleton in the end.
David Chang x Nike SB Dunk High Pro "Momofuku"

What You Need to Know: Nike SB have done many food-inspired sneakers and the latest comes as the Nike SB Dunk High Pro "Momofuku" in collaboration with NYC-based chef David Chang. The sneakers are inspired by Chang's famous Momofuku Noodle Bar in the East Village, and acts as a perfect blend between food and skate culture. While the SBDunk silhouette is an undeniable classic among skaters, the dark grey denim upper mimics Chang's aprons and his laid back approach to kitchen dressing.

What You Need to Know: Created in the early 2000s as an innovative runner, the Nike Air Zoom Chalapuka returns as a modern lifestyle silhouette. The sneakers feature mesh and a wide open cage on the upper for extreme breathability, while the tooling is inspired by the 1997 Talaria with a visible 3/4 Zoom Air unit. "Black" and "Armory Navy" colorways will be available.

Pigalle x NikeLab Air Shake NDestrukt

What You Need to Know: As a luxury take on Dennis Rodman's signature sneakers, the Pigalle x NikeLab Air Shake NDestrukt features a woven upper and premium suede on the mudguard. The sneakers come in Loyal Blue and a Carnation colorway that was referred to as the "Carmen Electras" by Pigalle’s founder Stéphane Ashpool. A white midsole and icy translucent outsole is used to complete the designs.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Zebra"

What You Need to Know: The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Zebra" originally release back in Feburary as a super exclusive colorway. Only 34 Adidas Originals stores worldwide had stock and there was no online release. Now, the limited colorway is returning for a wider restock. Still, these will be tough to grab.
Alltimers x Vans Old Skool Pro Skate

What You Need to Know: Inspired by a fictitious alien invasion and take over of planet Earth, the Alltimers x Vans Old Skool Pro Skate features a bold and futuristic design resemble to laser beams. The sneakers come in two colorways—blue/yellow and white/blue—and use a mesh upper, accented cotton webbing and reflective piping. A unique ghillie lacing system and Ultracush HD insoles with co-branded logos complete the modern look.
Titolo x New Balance 247 "Deep into the Blue"

What You Need to Know: In celebration of the official start to summer, Swiss retailer Titolo and New Balance are teaming up for the "Deep into the Blue" 247. Inspired by the beach, the sneakers use a navy blue neoprene upper to resemble water and pink terrycloth New Balance logos to represent beach towels. A beige outsole and gum rubber outsoles are used to complete the summer design.
