Olivia Munn thinks that an upcoming space flight that Katy Perry is going on is “gluttonous.”

Munn recently shared her thoughts about the Blue Origin all-female space expedition that’s set to take place on Apr. 14. While cohosting Today With Jenna & Friends, Munn spoke candidly about the upcoming mission for the rocket company that is owned by Jeff Bezos.

“What are they doing? Like, why?” Munn said. ”You know what I mean? I know this is probably not the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now. What are you guys going to do up in space?”

Her cohost, Bush Hager, said that the women are supposed to be in space for 11 minutes — prompting Munn to remark, “So you’re on, like, Magic Mountain.”

“And by the way, if you want to go to space, why do you need to tell us about it? You know? Just go up there, have a good time, come on down,” Munn added. “Also, I just think about — I know this is probably obnoxious but it’s so much money to go to space. There’s a lot of people who can’t even afford eggs. Oh my God, if they bring eggs into space!”

After Hager remarked that the all-female crew is “all going in glam,” Munn appeared even more confused.

”What’s the point? Is it historic that you guys are going on a ride? I think it’s a bit gluttonous. The cover of Elle magazine? I don’t know,” Munn ranted.

“Space exploration was to further our knowledge and to help mankind. What are they gonna do up there that has made it better for us down here?” Munn continued. “I mean, I don’t know if all that rocket fuel is good. This is a lot of resources being spent.”

In the Elle cover story about the upcoming trip, Perry said of the crew, “We are going to put the ‘ass’ in astronaut.”
