IShowSpeed’s Bay Area stream caught an apparent hit-and-run incident on multiple cameras this week — much to the frustrating amusement of the streamer.
Footage from the incident shows a Black Audi appearing to run into an individual on a bike at an intersection before speeding off. In one clip, which you can check out below, Speed can be seen appearing to shout "Go! It’s green!" at the car, at which point it strikes the biker and leaves the scene.
"What the fuck?" Speed is heard remarking as the car drives off, calling the driver a "dumbass."
"They got the hit-and-run news on the news," Speed later said on the stream. "He’s dumb, bro. … They literally got you on the news and they’re following you."
Another angle, said to have been captured by a regional news outlet, provides a lengthier look at the car as it continues to drive.
Complex has reached out to local police reps for comment on the incident.
San Francisco Bay Area-based news station KGO-TV briefly spoke with Speed while he was in town, with the publication’s report noting that "a mob of fans" followed him across the city. Speed told the outlet he loves "the energy" of San Fran, where it’s "so lit" because "everybody is turning up."
While in town, Speed linked up with San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie, who showed him around City Hall.
"Bro, it’s amazing," Speed said when offering his initial impressions of the space. "There’s quinceañeras, weddings Everything’s here. It’s beautiful."
Speed also used his time in the Bay Area to break out a backflip, choosing the Golden Gate Bridge as the locale for his signature move.
"First person to do a backflip on the Golden Gate Bridge," Speed told his chat before carrying out the flip. "Let’s go, baby!"
