Although she became engaged to Tom Holland in January, the couple isn’t even close to planning their wedding. In fact, according to her close friend, she’s not walking down the aisle anytime soon.

According to E! News, Zendaya’s close friend and stylist, Law Roach, spilled the beans regarding the couple’s upcoming wedding. He shared the real reason why there’s no rush.

"The process hasn't even started yet," Law revealed. "Zendaya is working on so many movies. She's now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time."

He added, "I'm really excited because I know that they really love each other and they have for a really long time. The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it's really beautiful."

Although they aren’t yet making their relationship official, Zendaya and Holland continue to collaborate professionally. The twosome will star in the 2026 epic film, The Odyssey.

Roach revealed, "Two people I really care about—actually three people I really care about a lot—are in that film," he shared. "Zendaya, of course, Tom Holland, and also Anne Hathaway, whom I worked with previously.”

He concluded, “I'm really excited to see my close family and my extended family all in this wonderful movie, and Christopher Nolan, we all know that he's the director everyone's dying to work with. So, I think it's going to be really good."

The Odyssey is an adaptation of Homer’s poem. The film will reportedly focus on Odysseus’ journey home after the Trojan War. Along with Zendaya, Holland, and Hathaway, the film stars Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth, Hamish Patel, Corey Hawkins, Lupita Nyong’o, Elliot Page, and John Leguizamo. It is set to make its big-screen debut in 2026.
