Since Valve announced the Steam operating system, gamers have been eagerly awaiting news on what it could do, how much it would cost, if the company would be releasing an official machine and who else would be down with the movement. As the wait continued, PC manufacturers were hard at work designing and constructing their own flavored machines for the rumored video game console killer.
At this year's International CES, Valve released a list of hardware companies that they've been working with over the months to create computers specifically built to run the Steam OS and it's shown to be a geeky, A-list roster of players including Alienware, Digital Storm, MAINGEAR and iBuyPower.
But words on a page is one thing, what's more important is how will the upcoming Steam Machines/Steam Boxes look? This gallery will answer that along with any available pricing and approximate times of release.
