Pete Davidson has quickly gone from zero to hero.
While just a few years ago, men and people everywhere questioned his appeal after landing a long list of some of the most desirable women in Hollywood, people are now starting to see the vision. Davidson has gone from being a goofball comedian and the youngest-ever cast member of Saturday Night Live to being sought-after arm candy. People wondered how it was possible that he could find himself in relationships with people like Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber, and Emily Ratajkowski, and that answer might be as simple as a good sense of humor and basic human kindness.
His luck with the ladies strengthened when rumors began to surface regarding his BDE (Big Dick Energy) thanks to a tweet from Grande, but some of his exes and castmates came to his defense saying he was simply a genuinely nice and funny guy—and that’s usually all it takes. Davidson met Grande during her appearance on SNL and they started dating soon after her split from Mac Miller. Kardashian started a relationship with the comedian after filing for divorce from Kanye West, and the pair also met while she hosted the show. While Davidson’s time on the late-night comedy show has come to an end, that hasn’t stopped him from finding himself a hot date. Most recently, he has been linked to his Bodies, Bodies, Bodiescostar, Chase Sui Wonders.

Davidson and Girl Code alum Carly Aquilino briefly dated in 2015. Following their split, which appeared to end on good terms, Aquilino and Davidson remained close friends. They were even spotted hanging out with each after one of his comedy shows in Huntington, New York, in February 2019. The following year, Aquilino was featured in her ex-’s 2020 film, The King of Staten Island. She took to Instagram to thank the former SNL star for the role, writing, “So excited for you guys to see this special movie & very proud of everyone who worked so hard making it. Thank you, Pete.”
Cazzie David

Things were pretty serious between Davidson and comedian Larry David’s daughter Cazzie David. The former couple began dating in May 2016 before calling it quits two years later. During an interview on Complex’s Open Late With Peter Rosenburg in May 2018, Davidson spoke candidly about their split. “We’re not together anymore,” he said. “Very talented girl, she’ll be great and she’ll be fine. Yeah, I think she’ll be OK.”
As for David, she said they both dealt with “mental health struggles” throughout their relationship in her 2020 collection of essays, No One Asked for This. She also claimed that the former SNL star broke up with her days before finding out that he was seeing none other than Ariana Grande. Although it took a few years, Davidson and David eventually became friends.
Ariana Grande

Something in the atmosphere changed after Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson started dating. Grande and Davidson met on the set of Saturday Night Live in 2016 but he was dating Cazzie David at the time. The pair then had a whirlwind romance that began in the spring of 2018, and the comedian proposed just a few weeks later. The couple ended their engagement in October 2018.
During their time together, Grande dedicated an interlude song to her beau titled “pete davidson” in her 2018 album Sweetener, which was about her manifesting him into her life. A fan asked about the length of the song via Twitter, saying: “How long is Pete?” to which the singer responded, “Like 10 inches?… oh fuck… I mean.. like a lil over a minute.” That one tweet started the rumor that he was well-endowed and it has followed him since. He joked about it during his 2020 Netflix comedy special Alive from New York, and Kim Kardashian referenced the BDE rumors while talking about her relationship with him on her Hulu reality show The Kardashians in 2022.
Kate Beckinsale

As if Pete Davidson dating Ariana Grande wasn’t shocking enough, he decided to up the ante by dating Kate Beckinsale. In January 2019, the actress and comedian made headlines after they were spotted being flirty at a Golden Globes after-party. A source told Page Sixat the time, “Kate had her hand on his knee, and she kept laughing at all his jokes.” Things were heating up between the two, with the former couple packing on PDA at an SNL after-party and also at a New York Rangers game.
During an interview with the Los Angeles Times in March, Beckinsale opened up about the attention she received as a result of her relationship with the comic. “I’ve never been in this position before—never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to,” she explained.
While it’s unclear why the two broke up after four months of dating, it appeared to be an amicable choice. In April 2019, Davidson reportedly walked out of his comedy show after the venue’s owner made a joke about Beckinsale and Ariana Grande, per Us Weekly.
When he started dating Kardashian, Beckinsale liked a tweet seemingly agreeing to the real reason why he seems to be a magnet for beautiful women. The tweet the actress liked in November 2021 said: “I love how every time Pete Davidson starts dating another beautiful celebrity everyone’s like ‘wtf is happening how did he do this what is this mystery???’ and everybody refuses to entertain the possibility that he might have a nice personality.”
Margaret Qualley

Davidson does not slow down. The actor began dating Margaret Qualley in August 2019, just months after his split from Kate Beckinsale. The couple was spotted on a romantic outing in Venice, Italy while the actress was attending the Venice Film Festival. But while both of their careers were taking off, their relationship didn’t. The fling was short-lived as the pair called it quits in October. The actress is now engaged to music producer Jack Antonoff.
Kaia Gerber

Davidson tried his hand at love again with model Kaia Gerber. The pair dated briefly from October 2019 to January 2020. One month after their split, the comic sat down for a lengthy interview with Charlamagne Tha God in which he spoke about his breakup from the then-18-year-old. “She’s very young, and I’m f**king going through a lot and it was before I went to rehab,” said the comedian, who sought treatment at the Sierra Tucson treatment center in Arizona.
He continued, “It’s just like, she should be having fun. She shouldn’t have to worry about some dude that just has issues and s**t. She should be enjoying her work. It just wasn’t the right place or the right time at all.”
Olivia O'Brien

Singer Olivia O’Brien said she allegedly dated the SNL alum before he went on to pursue Phoebe Dynevor. During an appearance on an episode of the BFFs podcast in July 2022, O’Brien said she dated the comedian in October 2020, saying she did not think “anyone knew about that.” She also said that Davidson ended things with her via text message. “He texted me and was like, ‘I’m seeing someone else. So, like, I can’t.’” Davidson’s people denied the whole thing altogether soon after. “There is no truth to this,” his rep told Page Six. “They were friends and hung out a few times.” Yikes.
Phoebe Dynevor

The actor seems to be attracted to women when they are at the peak of their careers. Davidson had a long-distance relationship with Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor that started at the start of 2021, following the gigantic success of the first season of her Netflix show. The pair spent five months together and were spotted out in public at different events before the two broke up in August 2021 reportedly due to the distance and busy schedules.
Kim Kardashian

Of course, even a rebound after a divorce would result in a serious relationship for someone like Kim Kardashian. Davidson and Kardashian met while she hosted SNL for the first time in October 2021. The couple shared their first kiss live during an Aladdin sketch they worked on together, and were spotted together soon after on a ride at an amusement park holding hands. Kardashian recalled only looking for something casual as she worked through her divorce but the couple went on to date for nine months, and in that time things escalated quickly between them. He was spotted hanging out with her children, they attended the 2022 Met Gala together, he got tattoos in her honor, they traveled together and he even appeared on The Kardashians. Their relationship also caused a bit of turmoil with her ex Kanye West, who was clear and outspoken about his disapproval of their union. The pair eventually called it quits in August 2022, reportedly due to their busy schedules.
Emily Ratajkowski

In the most interesting turn of events last month, Davidson was rumored to be dating supermodel Emily Ratajkowski. The two appeared to confirm the rumors when they were spotted courtside at a New York Knicks game. According to Entertainment Tonight, the coupling is causal, considering both of them recently got out of serious relationships. Davidson split from Kim Kardashian in August, and EmRata filed for divorce from her husband of four years, Sebastian Bear-McClard, in September.
A source revealed to ET that the two are enjoying each other’s company. “Emily has been seeing Pete and thinks he is super charismatic, funny, and a good rebound,” the insider said. “It is casual between them, but she likes that they’re comfortable with each other, and have a good time together. Things are going well for her.”

Davidson is starting the new year off strong. As previously stated, the comedian has no issue landing himself in a new relationship. Just months after his quick fling with Ratajkowski fizzled out, he was spotted with his Bodies, Bodies, Bodies costar, the up-and-coming actress Chase Sui Wonders. The pair took a trip to Universal Studios and to the beach together and were not shy to show some PDA. The pair starred in the A24 comedy thriller in 2022, which came out while he was dating Kardashian. “Pete and Chase Sui have been hanging out and having fun,” a source close to the actor told People. “It doesn’t seem like a long-term thing though.” Openly kissing each other in public makes it seem as if they are pretty committed to each other, then again, this is Pete Davidson we’re talking about.
