Quenlin Blackwell reflected fondly on her meet-cute cooking time with Duke Dennis in her debut Complex cover story, while joking that she "can't escape" the viral moment.
Last November, Dennis was a guest on Blackwell's YouTube cooking show Feeding Starving Influences, where the two were flirty while whipping up soul food.
In conversation with Complex editor-in-chief Aria Hughes, the influencer spoke about the differences in performing on social media and in acting roles.
"I think I'm performing every day when I wake up. I think being a human is a performance," Blackwell said. "And I have acted now, and acting is really, really actually performing. And I feel like internet is just playing up reality."
When probed by Hughes about the "chemistry" between her and Dennis and whether she was "just playing," Blackwell replied, "I should have never done it."
Apparently, Dennis has been present everywhere she turns, as the streamer was the highlight of marathon Twitch livestreams AMP Summer House and Streamer University.
Blackwell agreed that her time with Dennis was "highly entertaining" but added that she "can't escape him."
"I'm kidding. Was I playing it up? I like n****s, well, lemme say it, PR ..." she continued.
"I like fine shit," Blackwell continued. "I'm sorry. He fine. But do I want Duke Dennis?"
Blackwell, who's refrained from dating public figures, said she likes to keep her relationships a "secret."
Probably one of the most hilarious moments from Blackwell and Dennis' episode was when the streamer mistakenly called her "kinda weird" but tried to play it off as "good weird."
"It's like, 'Oh, damn she's cool as hell. I'd chill with her,'" Dennis told Blackwell in the TikTok above.
