Some Love Island alums may be thriving in their relationships, but season five’s golden couple, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, have called it quits after five years together.

On Wednesday, Aug. 14, Molly-Mae broke the news on her Instagram Stories, leaving fans heartbroken. The pair, who have a 19-month-old daughter named Bambi, are now going their separate ways.

"Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this," Hague began. "After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way."

She continued, "I'm extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end."

"I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority."

Hague also showed her appreciation to Love Island UK fans, writing, "You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all." She also announced a social media hiatus.

Fury, the younger brother of heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury, posted a separate message on Instagram, echoing Hague's.

"I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship," he wrote. "The past five years have led us to having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will forever be thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority."

The announcement comes as a shock to many, bewildering UK Twitter, as Hague and Fury were once #CoupleGoals during their time on Love Island.
