The transgender son of Mel B and Eddie Murphy has turned eighteen years old.

Last Thursday (April 3), the Spice Girl celebrated the birthday of her second child, Angel Murphy Brown, who goes by he/him/his pronouns. In the Instagram carousel were pictures of Mel B, Angel and a photo they took with Sofía Vergara.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ANGEL !!! I cannot believe youre 18 You are so special and so bright and so talented!!" Mel captioned the post. I couldnt be prouder of watching you grow and become the person you are but youll forever be my babyyyy."

She concluded, "I [hope] you keep chasing yor dreams and be kind to everyone around you like you always have been my Angel Love you always ❤️❤️❤️."

Mel B and Murphy dated briefly in 2006 and the following April, Mel B welcomed their son. Despite having a paternity dispute, which ended in a child support settlement in 2009, the actor-comedian appears to have a good relationship with his son, which Mel B revealed in 2019.

"He apologizes to this day about that," Mel B told Piers Morgan on his Life Stories show. "He wishes he never said it because that baby was planned; we planned that baby together, and we were madly in love, and it just went wrong, dramatically went wrong."

While Mel B also has two daughters, Phoenix Brown, 26, and Madison Brown Belafonte, 13, Murphy has ten children total, with his oldest child, Eric, soon to be married to Martin Lawrence's eldest daughter, Jasmin.
