Jonathan Majors considers himself so much of a health nut that he's come up with a new wellness term: "calorically woke."
Alongside his wife, actress Meagan Good, Majors was a guest on the Thursday (Sept. 11) episode of the Tamron Hall Show and discussed their fitness and healthy eating habits.
Around the one-minute, 30-second mark of the video below, Majors, who co-founded an athleisure brand with Good, was asked about the meaning of "calorically woke."
"It means we know what we're doing when we're doing it and we try not to do the bad things calorically," the Magazine Dreams star explained with a shrug.
Hall was prompted to ask the question after seeing a video of the couple's morning routine, which Good occasionally shares on Instagram and TikTok. In a clip shared on the talk show, Majors brewed a yerba mate tea with Manuka honey, while Good blended a protein powder smoothie with spinach, almond milk, and Brazilian nuts.
In another Instagram reel posted in July, Good and Majors whipped up a fibrous meal of french toast, grits, and bacon, although it was their "cheat day."
The Majors have bonded over fitness since they began dating in May 2023, just one year after Good divorced her former husband, DeVon Franklin. Majors and Good married in a private ceremony in March, and the two have shared nothing but glowing words about each other since exchanging vows.
The actress supported Majors throughout his 2023 domestic violence case involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, and remained beside the actor when he was convicted on charges of misdemeanor assault and harassment.
On The Breakfast Club in March, Majors revealed that his wife had occasionally been dropped from endorsements and disinvited to events because of her relationship with him.
"She took so many hits… they weren’t announcing it, but she lost endorsements, she got uninvited to stuff because she had shown just how down she was, and they knew if Meagan is coming, J is coming," he said. "She’s stronger than me."
