Jennifer Lopez might be single, but she's not looking.
Earlier this year, the singer-actress divorced her fourth husband, actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck, after three years of marriage. The exes have been vague about the reasons for their divorce, but during the American Music Awards on Monday (May 26), Lopez insisted that she's "happy" being single.
Around the 3:30-minute mark of the video below, Access Hollywood's Lauren Herbert joked that Tiffany Haddish wanted to go "manhunting" that night with Lopez.
"She said that to me, I said, 'Girl, I'm not looking for no man,'" Lopez replied. "I'm happy right now. I'm not trying to ruin it, okay?"
The Unstoppable actress reconciled with Affleck in 2021 after the two previously dated roughly twenty years before. After their first breakup, Lopez was married from Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014 before dating exes Casper Smart and Alex Rodriquez, while Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, after which he dated Lindsay Shookus and Ana de Armas.
Last year, Lopez admitted to Nikki Glaser in a story for Interview that falling out of love with Affleck devastated her, but explained the lessons she learned from their split.
"But you have to be healthy. You have to be complete, if you want something that’s more complete. You have to be good on your own," Lopez said. "I thought I learned that, but I didn’t. And then, this summer, I had to be like, 'I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that.'"
