India Love has shared that she didn't expect to be singled out by Drake at the end of Streamer University last month.
As the Kai Cenat-hosted event drew to a close, The Boy dropped in with a video message congratulating participants for finishing out Streamer University strong.
One of those participants was Love, who spent most of the event in a love triangle with DDG and Duke Dennis. But that didn't stop Drizzy from flirtatiously shouting her out in his closing remarks.
"And India, India... After all these years, you know, all the love that we shared, our friends and our families knowing each other," he said in the clip below. "I just wanted to say, that you'll always be my dog. You'll always be my dog. I got love for you, I'm proud of you."
During a new episode of 360 With Speedy, posted on Thursday (June 26), India Love addressed the video, revealing that she was "definitely shocked" at Drake's acknowledgement.
"I was over there like, 'Wait what?'" Love told host Speedy Morman. "I was in the crowd like everybody's looking at me. I'm like, 'Wait, I didn't really hear it because I was still stuck on the last thing that he said.'"
She continued: "But I was definitely surprised, and it was good to see and hear from him and make sure he's good."
Love called the five-time Grammy winner a "legend," adding that she "appreciated" the "cute" and "cool" shoutout from him.
While Drake seemingly remains an eternal bachelor, India Love continues to stream with DDG and Duke Dennis separately, although she's shied away from dating speculation.
"He’s a great person, he’s a great guy," Love said of DDG in a recent chat with TMZ. "I don’t know what God has for my life but I know he’s a great guy. You gotta pour into people who pour into you, and he’s definitely someone who’s right in my corner and I’m also always gonna be right in his corner. So yeah, shoutout to DDG."
