"This is weird," Tatum remembered thinking.

Channing Tatum had no choice but to bare it all—literally—when he met Peter Dinklage the first time while filming Roofman.

To promote the Derek Cianfrance-directed comedy, Tatum was on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday (Oct. 7) and shared that he was entirely nude while filming a scene with Dinklage. The shoot was also the first time the actors met.

Around the eight-minute mark of the video below, Tatum said that he was "butt-naked" while first greeting Dinklage, who he'd "never really met" before.

"I literally shook his hand and I was just like, 'OK, you're going to get to know everything about me today. This is weird,'" he continued.

Meyers, who saw the film, said that "there's no tricks" to the level that Tatum was naked, and the actor agreed, saying that he was in his "birthday suit" for a large portion of the comedy.

Tatum added that the filming crew needed to have a "plan" while he was naked on-screen to not show his unmentionables.

Tatum recalled that in one scene, he had to jump on top of a bike rack, which possibly led to a zoom on his privates.

"I have to jump up on this bike rack where the camera's, like, right behind me. So if I jump up, I mean, it is... right down the barrel," he said.

In an interview with People, Cianfrance corroborated Tatum's first time meeting Dinklage, explaining that the actor was the "full monty" and that "there was nothing to hide behind."
