Megan Guthrie, better known to her followers as Megnutt02, has stepped into producing with Senior Prank, an indie comedy now streaming on Tubi.
The project is written and directed by Gray Fagan and Bailey Wax, two rising Hollywood filmmakers who built the film’s script from scratch.
The feature follows four students whose attempt at a lighthearted senior prank spins out of control. The 91-minute comedy mixes absurd humor with the chaos of poor high-school teenager decision-making.
Guthrie said working behind the camera gave her a fresh look at comedy.
"I wanted to be part of something that showed the messy, funny side of growing up while also being completely unexpected. Producing let me help shape that from the ground up," Guthrie said about the film.
The trailer opens with a cheery announcement on the school’s intercom: "Good Morning, Riddling High."
The Student Council president pledges to make the school year a success.
Moments later, the mood shifts with a rule, "Any senior prank of any kind is strictly forbidden."
But the film then proceeds to change pace and descend into an action-packed year of pranking chaos.
Fagan and Wax have collaborated on both stage and film, building a reputation for offbeat stories told with heart.
They previously worked together on The Ballad of Rose Mae before moving into their debut feature.
Wax said the goal was to keep the story grounded while leaning into a ridiculous plotline.
Fans have now fled to Instagram to comment on the film.
"Such an evil prank," one user said.
Another added, "The movie is going to be incredible."
For Guthrie, it’s only the beginning. "This won’t be the last time I get involved behind the scenes," she said. "I loved being part of building something that makes people laugh."
Senior Prank is now streaming for free on Tubi.
