Greg Yüna calls himself “The Cleanest,” and for good reason. As a jeweler to the stars, he understands that his products live on people, so if he doesn’t produce the finest jewelry, it’s curtains for him and his brand. Luckily for the Queens native, that isn’t a problem because Yüna believes in quality first.
And while Yüna’s jewelry costs a pretty penny, he knows how to make things work within a budget. To prove it, the 43-year-old accepted the Ball on A Budget challenge from Chime and pulled up to Lost and Found Vintage in Miami with host Ashley Nicole Moss to see if he could create a look for $300 or less.
Moss gave Yüna three different potential scenarios to shop for: a friend’s birthday, an outfit created specifically around a piece of jewelry, or the opening of a new store. Yüna chose to raid the racks for the store opening, as he revealed he has a shop in Miami opening soon, and he and his team are working on a store in Las Vegas.
Yüna was adamant that you don’t need a lot of money to have great style, a belief he learned from his mother, who he says was a big bargain shopper with put-together outfits. And while Yüna doesn’t care about something looking or being expensive, he will drop some bread on a few staples, namely white tees and fresh white sneakers.
“It’s just my thing, he said.
