Jeannie Mai doesn’t have time to date.
Now that her and Jeezy’s divorce has been finalized, the TV personality told People she’s “been busy dating myself.”
"I've just been taking myself out," she added. "I've been spending a lot of money on myself."
Jeannie spent the holiday season traveling with family and friends, which included flying “a bunch” of her friends out for an “impromptu trip to Hawaii” to celebrate her birthday and taking “16 family members” to Disney World for Christmas.
"I feel like right now, I'm just celebrating all the things that I love and that love me and that feels like I'm booked dating myself,” Mai explained.
Jeezy filed for divorce in September 2023, later finalized over the summer, and included a custody agreement regarding their two-year-old daughter, Monaco.
The pair started dating back in late 2018 after meeting on set of Mai's daytime talk show, The Real. Jeezy then proposed in March 2020, and they hosted their wedding ceremony a year later in Atlanta.
When Jeezy filed for divorce, he claimed that their marriage was "irretrievably broken" with "no hope for reconciliation.” Mai later accused him of cheating and being abusive towards her, which Jeezy denied.
