Harassment and stalking in the streaming world is nothing new, but a recent incident of harassment levied against Valkyrae and Cinna has sparked outrage across the community.
In footage from the incident at Santa Monica Pier during Valkyrae and Cinna’s Sis-A-Thon subathon with Emiru, an individual initially wants to sing them a song. However, the situation quickly escalates when he demands their phone numbers and says he will “follow” them for the rest of the evening.
As the group walks away, deciding to wait in line for churros before leaving, the camera pans to capture the individual still lurking nearby. Eventually, the man reappears and repeatedly threatens, saying, “I’ll kill you right now.”
With the situation growing increasingly dangerous, security is called in, and the group leaves the Santa Monica Pier, ending the stream abruptly.
