It turns out Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau's plans didn't only include grabbing dinner, as he was spotted at the singer's concert.
The former Canadian Prime Minister was in attendance for Perry's The Lifetimes Tour as she made a stop in Montreal on Wednesday, July 30. Trudeau had perfect seats for the show too, presumably provided by Perry and her team.
TMZ was first to report the two were spotted earlier this week at a dinner in a private area of a Montreal restaurant. The two reportedly dined at Le Violon, where they chowed down on lobster, tuna, lamb gnocchi, and beef tartare.
It was only weeks before Perry and Trudeau's dinner date when Perry announced she and Orlando Bloom, who were together for nearly ten years, were going their separate ways.
In a joint statement about their split, they announced, "Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
The two share a four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom.
Trudeau is also recently single, announcing in 2023 that he and his wife of 18 years were getting a divorce. The politician served as the Prime Minister of Canada from 2015 to 2025 before announcing his resignation after falling out of popularity with the Canadian people.
While the significance of Perry and Trudeau's relationship is not publicly known, the dinner date certainly raised some eyebrows.
Perry will spend the month of August hitting additional tour stops across the United States before taking her show around the world before it ends in December.
Unclear if Trudeau will tag along to any of those stops, but the two certainly seemed to get along just fine in Montreal.
