Kai Cenat is officially taking his livestream energy to the big screen.
The Twitch star revealed during the 29th day of his ongoing Mafiathon 3 subathon that he’s set to star in a new horror-comedy alongside Kevin Hart and Druski. The project, titled Livestream From Hell, marks Cenat’s first feature film role.
The announcement came in the middle of a sleepover-style broadcast hosted at Hart’s house, where the comedian personally broke the news. “My n*** are going to be movie stars,” Hart said during the stream. “You know what’s the best way to show it? It’s to f***ing do something with ’em! When we put something together, we will drop a teaser. We not done yet. We gonna show the world what we’re working on.”
Moments later, Cenat rolled the official one-minute teaser confirming the film, with Hartbeat (Kevin Hart's production company) behind the project.
According to Tales From The Collection, Livestream From Hell follows Hart, Cenat, and Druski as they host a live broadcast that spirals out of control when guests start turning up dead.
The trio is forced to juggle solving the murders while still keeping their online audience entertained, blending jump scares with comedy in real-time — entirely in line with the rest of Cenat's vibe.
David Janoff, meanwhile, is set to direct the horror-comedy project. While no release date has been confirmed as of this writing, the teaser promises the film is “coming soon.” A platform for the film has also not yet been confirmed as of this writing.
The film is produced by Hartbeat, 4lifers Entertainment, and OBB Pictures, the Film & TV division of OBB Media.
For Cenat, this project is a significant milestone. Back in April, he hinted that something big was coming. “We are now in the process of filming my first-ever movie,” he told fans at the time. “Like, main character type s**t. Main character movie, this month, we’re filming it.”
