Jennifer Lopez’s latest shopping trip in Istanbul took an unexpected turn when she was reportedly refused entry into a Chanel boutique.

According to Turkiye Today (via Page Six), Jenny from the Block was visiting the luxury Istinye Park mall on Monday, August 4, when she approached the Chanel store. A security guard inside allegedly blocked her from entering.

Dressed in a baby pink outfit with matching sunglasses, the 56-year-old reportedly remained calm, responding, “OK, no problem,” before walking away without incident.

Store employees later invited Lopez to return, but she declined. Instead, she shopped at neighboring designer stores, including Celine and Beymen, reportedly spending tens of thousands of dollars.

The incident came just days after Lopez’s August 5 concert in Istanbul, part of her 19-stop Up All Night summer tour that began July 8 in Vigo, Spain, and will conclude Aug. 10 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

While Lopez has regularly posted about her shows on Instagram, she has yet to share anything about the Istanbul performance. Her representatives did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

This Chanel moment adds to what has been a challenging stretch for Lopez. As previously reported, her upcoming Las Vegas “residency” has faced slower-than-expected ticket sales. The limited run features three New Year’s Eve shows and six March dates, with prices ranging from about $121 to $1,300.

Industry insiders differ on the long-term plan—one source claimed Lopez signed a deal for up to 100 shows over three years, while a Lopez representative said there are no 100 shows scheduled, only an option to add more if she chooses. A “huge” fourth-quarter promotional push is reportedly planned.

The Vegas rollout follows her canceled North American tour last year, which was also linked to reports of soft demand. Meanwhile, Dolly Parton and Beyoncé have sold out major runs at a record pace.
