Diamond Tankard, 21, granddaughter of gospel‑jazz icon Ben Tankard and former cast member on Bravo’s Thicker Than Water, was arrested on Friday, July 18, after a brawl inside a Walmart in Antioch, Tennessee.

According to 7 News, police say the Bravo reality star crept up behind an unidentified shopper at a self‑checkout kiosk, yanked her hair, and punched her repeatedly.

Cell‑phone footage that Tankard uploaded herself shows her in a pink top, camouflage pants, and an ankle monitor, raining blows. Bystanders can be heard begging her to stop while the victim tries to shield her face. After nearly a minute, Tankard brandishes a red‑and‑white tube sock allegedly stuffed with rocks and slams it into the woman’s head.

An arrest affidavit obtained by WVLT-TV states the victim suffered cuts above her left eye and on her forehead and told officers Tankard snatched her $900 Louis Vuitton purse along with a $1,500 iPhone 14 during the chaos.

Surveillance video seemed to confirm the improvised weapon’s use, and officers recovered the sock filled with landscaping stones, classifying it as a weapon.

Tankard was then booked on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon and theft of property. She posted a $25,000 bond and was released later that day. Paramedics treated the shopper at the scene and then transported her to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

The Walmart melee isn’t Tankard’s run‑in with authorities.

According to Law & Crime, on November 29, 2024, she was charged with attempted first‑degree murder after allegedly ramming a 30‑year‑old woman with her Range Rover outside a Nashville bar.

Investigators say Tankard drove to the end of the road, turned around, and accelerated into the victim, leaving her injured. She also faces counts of leaving the scene of an injury crash and failing to render aid; bond in that case was set at $1,002,000, and she was still under that monitoring order when Friday’s arrest occurred.

Tankard, who lists Nashville as home on social platforms and is the mother of a daughter, has not publicly commented on either case. Her next court appearance is scheduled for August 22, according to the outlet.
