Quinta Brunson has filed for divorce from her husband of over three years, Kevin Anik, according to reports.
Per TMZ, the Abbott Elementary creator and star filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court this week, citing irreconcilable differences.
Brunson and Anik reportedly have a postnuptial agreement, and she has requested for the court to split property assets. The two have mostly kept their relationship private, but they got engaged in July 2020 and married the following year.
In 2022, Brunson thanked Anik during her acceptance speech after winning Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, describing him as "the most supportive man I've ever known."
Anik isn't in the entertainment industry; he works as a sales manager in the legal marijuana industry.
Brunson has been very busy as of late. Outside of working on the fifth season of Abbott Elementary, on which she is also a writer and an executive producer, she's set to appear in a crossover episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and 2026 animated The Cat in the Hat Movie.
As reported by Deadline last year, she's also got a feature film on the way with Universal Pictures, in which she will star and co-write with director Justin Tan.
