In an interview with SNL star Chloe Fineman for Elle, Lindsay Lohan addressed speculation about her appearance following her return to Hollywood.

The former child actress, now 38, has always been in the media spotlight, and recently, there has been a lot of speculation about her youthful appearance. Fineman mentioned that she had a facial done last week with an aesthetician who said she's never had Botox, and her and Lohan immediately cast doubt on that. "Everyone does Botox," said Lohan. "Who are you? It's like, 'You lie.'"

When asked for her skincare secrets, she suggested that the biggest benefit she's seen has come from keeping things healthy and trying serums.

"I don't even know how to answer that," she said when asked for her secrets. "I drink this juice every morning. It’s like carrot, ginger, lemon, olive oil, apple. I also drink a lot of green tea, a lot of water. I’m a big pickled beets person, so I put them in almost everything. My skin care is very specific. I’m trying out some serums now that I’m doing—I’m testing them. Also, I’m a big believer in ice-cold water on your face when you wake up. I drink lemon juice a lot; I also put tons of chia seeds in my water. Eye patches, I do every morning. I’m into lasers."

Lohan mentioned that she saw Julianne Moore using an "at-home" laser procedure that she thought looked "very good." She was dismissive of trends such as "salmon sperm," though.

Fineman mentioned that she tried the laser treatment Fraxel, which is used to help repair damaged skin cells, but Lohan said she tried Morpheus8, a microneedling procedure that she's since stopped doing because her skin became more sensitive after she had her first child. "My skin got even more sensitive after him," she said.

At one point, Lohan's publicist chimed in to say that "the second" a woman in the public eye "looks any different," people assume they got cosmetic work like a facelift done. "I'm like, when?" replied Lohan. "With what time? Where?" Her publicist continued, "Women can’t just look good to look good and change their lifestyle to be more healthy." Lohan concluded, "You just have to do it and ignore everyone else."

Elsewhere in the interview, she spoke about aspirations for her career and said that she'd "love to work with some dream directors," and specifically mentioned Quentin Tarantino. She also said that she'd love to work with actors Julianne Moore, Robert De Niro, and Al Pacino.
