Tracy Morgan was placed in a wheelchair and taken away after vomiting during a New York Knicks game on Monday night. It’s currently unclear what led to the 56-year-old's medical incident.
Per TMZ, the incident occurred during the first half of the Knicks' game against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden, when the comedian fell ill in his courtside seat. According to the outlet, the game was delayed for several minutes while Morgan was transported away.
According to a tweet from a bystander who shared footage of the incident, Morgan was holding a towel to his face and was seen with blood coming from his nose as he exited the floor. Another image captured the moment Morgan began vomiting near his front-row seat.
Last year marked 10 years since Tracy Morgan was hospitalized after his car collided with a Walmart truck that hit his limo from behind while speeding on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Following the accident, the comedian suffered a broken leg and was in a coma for two weeks. The incident killed his collaborator and mentor, James McNair, and left others injured. Morgan was wheelchair-bound for five months and had to relearn how to talk and walk.
Morgan has diabetes and had a kidney transplant in 2010.
