Sharon Stone has been hard at work, but the Hollywood icon is letting fans in on a few little secrets.

In an interview for Today which aired Monday, August 18, Stone, 67, shared a few details about her role on the upcoming third season of Euphoria. When anchor Craig Melvin asked the Nobody 2 actress what she was able to share about her character, Stone replied, “Not very much, because I’m sworn to confidentiality.”

“What’s a little confidentiality among friends, right?” joked Melvin.

Stone did, however, hint that her character may have a lot of interactions with the show’s fictional sisters Cassie and Lexi Howard, who are respectively played by Sydney Sweeney and Maude Apatow.

“I feel really blessed to be a part of it,” Stone said. “I know that I'm gonna work with Maude Apatow, who I think is just great in that show. And I know I'm gonna work with Sydney Sweeney.”

The first two seasons of Euphoria center around Rue Bennett — who is played by the Emmy-winning Zendaya — as she navigates drug addiction, relapses, and seeking to repair the relationships around her. Though Zendaya has been the heartbeat of the show, Stone revealed that she doesn’t know how much, or even if she’ll get to work with her.

“I don't know yet if I work with Zendaya,” Stone said.
”I've only seen a couple of the scenes, because I don't get to see much in advance.”

As production on Euphoria’s third season continues, fans are enjoying the hints about characters and storylines. Last week, showrunner Sam Levinson revealed her nearly gave singer Rosalía free rein over her character. “I never want to tell her what to do first, because her natural instincts are so fascinating, charismatic, and funny. Every scene we shoot, I’m behind the camera smiling,” he told Elle.

In July, it was reported that Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer would be writing the score alongside singer and producer Labrinth.

Season 3 of Euphoria is expected to premiere in 2026.
