He's not saying it's a bad album, though.

T-Pain thinks that Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s new album, $ome $exy $ongs, is made from scrapped songs from either of the artists recording sessions.

T-Pain gave his speculation to the public during a recent stream.

“I feel like [Drake] recorded a bunch of shit,” he said. “And in order to keep [PARTYNEXTDOOR] around, I feel like you could take 10 or 15 of these songs, put a verse on them bitches PARTY, and that’s our album bro.”

Making sure that people didn’t think that he’s trashing the album, T-Pain said that he doesn’t think the songs suck.

“I’m not saying that they’re bad,” he added. “These are just songs that didn’t make albums. Or PARTY came to him with an album and was like, ‘Hey Drake, could you put verses on these songs.’”

Regardless of whether $ome $exy $ongs is new or scrapped material, it’s already a huge success. Billboard reports that the 21-track LP has set the record for the biggest R&B soul album in the history of Apple Music based on first-day streams.

The LP dropped on Valentine’s Day and features guest appearances from Yebba and Chino Pacas.

On the album, Drake addresses Melyssa Ford and Joe Budden in a lyric that gives the former her flowers and trashes the latter. On the track “GIMME A HUG,” he calls the co-host of the Budden podcast and former music video model a “legend from the 6” while referring to the podcast’s namesake as a “dick sucker.”

In her reaction to the lyric on Budden's podcast, Ford said she was “still processing” it but later updated her Instagram bio to include that she’s a “legend from the 6.”

“I don't know what he is trying to do, I am not in that man's mind, I do not know. I will let you guys opine on that,” she said. Meanwhile, Budden didn’t seem displeased at the disrespect, simply adding, "I was happy."
