Tory Lanez is being ordered to pay for Megan Thee Stallion’s legal fees after he made a joke out of a deposition while in prison.

According to court documents obtained by Complex, the reason for Lanez’s new bill is revealed to be because of how he acted during a court-ordered Zoom deposition on April 9. Instead of calmly answering question, Lanez is said to have interrupted Megan’s lawyers and insulted one of them by begging for her to comb her hair.

Lanez's behavior interrupted the deposition which barely lasted an hour, according to court docs. Afterwards, Megan’s legal team filed a motion that same month asking why the singer shouldn’t be held in contempt due to derailing the deposition. Despite the residing judge giving Lanez until April 30 to respond, he didn’t — so now he’s being ordered to pay.

The next time that Lanez is in a deposition, a magistrate judge will be supervising to ensure that he doesn’t act out of turn again. Megan’s team is also seeking for the court to assign a special master to oversee his future testimony — and they want Lanez to pay for it.

Megan’s latest legal victory comes a week after YouTuber Milago Gramz was ordered to pay $5,000 to cover her attorney's fees.

A federal judge in the U.S. The District Court for the Southern District of Florida ordered Gramz, whose real name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, to pay fees incurred by the rapper's lawyers for forcing the disclosure of Cooper's texts, as well as other potential evidence.

Megan announced in a statement last year why she was suing Milagro, whom she’s referred to as a “mouthpiece” for Lanez.

“It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” Megan said. “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”
