Summer Walker doesn't believe that Lil Meech was really helping out his cousin — at least that's what a lie detector says.

The singer released a trailer for her third album, Finally Over It, with a six-minute skit featuring her taking a lie detector test full of rapid-fire “yes” or “no” questions.

One of the topics breached in the video was the end of Meech and Walker's relationship.

To recap: Back in the summer of 2023, Meech was seen on a Ring camera entering an apartment of a woman who is not Walker. In response, Walker seemed to announce the end of their relationship with an Instagram post saying that she "can't do that cheatin stuff." Meech then fired back, claiming in a video that the woman was a relative.

"Damn, I can't help my cousin bring the bag in the house? We went to the grocery store," he said. Despite all the drama, the two reconciled several months later — though they then went their separate ways yet again not long afterwards.

Walker's new lie detector skit made reference to the situation by having her be asked, "Was it his cousin's groceries?"

“Hell naw it was not his cousins' groceries,” Walker said with a laugh, with the response registering as “true” on the device.

The singer made further reference to the situation in an album promo video shared on Instagram, which features what appear to be voicemails from an apologetic man explaining: "I was just helping my cousin with the groceries."

Maybe Walker will fully explain what happened with her and Lil Meech when Finally Over It drops on Nov. 14.
