Tyler, The Creator is seen in a recently surfaced video calling out a man for following and filming him in the New York City area.
In the clip that’s been circulating on social media as of late, an unidentified individual is heard saying “It’s just Tyler, The Creator” and “It’s just a video,” among other remarks. At one point, someone, presumably a member of Tyler's team (though that has not been outright confirmed), is seen appearing to intervene.
Eventually, Tyler himself turns around and speaks to the camera.
“I don’t care about none of that, bro,” Tyler says in the video, seen below. “If I feel uncomfortable and I tell him to go, I’ll pay for your lawsuits, bro. I’m loaded, bro. I’m with all that. Put it on the internet too. Calm that down. Be respectful. … Because If I say go, he will go.”
In September, Tyler wrapped a world tour, letting fans in Quezon City know that a “very, very, very, very long break” was now in the cards.
“I’m excited to go home and think about if I’ll ever really tour again, because I’m fucking not 20 no more,” Tyler said at the time.
Next, Tyler will be seen in Josh Safdie's Marty Supreme, marking his inaugural feature performance as an actor. At the much-anticipated A24 title’s world premiere as part of this year's New York Film Festival, Tyler expressed gratitude for having been given “a chance” by Josh, who previously co-directed Uncut Gems and Good Time with his brother and fellow filmmaker Benny Safdie.
