With Playboi Carti’s Antagonist 2.0 tour rolling into Los Angeles for a sold-out stop at the Lakers’ home venue, it makes sense that fans would be treated with a surprise appearance by Kendrick Lamar.

Put another way, to quote Carti’s Opium Finsta, having the Compton-born 22-time Grammy winner take the stage at the Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday, Oct. 15 “is only right.” Footage from the show captures the rapturous response from the crowd as Kendrick launched into a performance of “GOOD CREDIT,” a track off Carti’s Whole Lotta Red follow-up MUSIC.

This isn’t the first time Carti and Kendrick have treated fans to a live rendition of “GOOD CREDIT.” In April, Kendrick brought Carti out to perform the track during the Atlanta stop of his and SZA’s Grand National Tour.

Carti’s Antagonist 2.0 tour next pulls into Phoenix, Arizona on Friday before moving on to Las Vegas, Denver, Saint Paul, and elsewhere. The tour, also featuring Opium’s own Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely, is set to wrap at the top of December with a show at the State Farm Arena in Carti’s hometown of Atlanta.

In June, MUSIC came in at No. 1 on Complex’s rundown of the best albums of the year so far, besting full-lengths from Bad Bunny and PinkPantheress in the process. Revisit the full ranking here.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
