Juvenile has revealed that E-40 was supposed to have a cameo in the video for "Back That Azz Up" but didn't make it as he got too wasted.
During an appearance on What's Hood Podcast that was posted on HoodClips, Juvie recalled when the Bay Area rap legend was on the music video set of his hit single but didn't end up making the final cut. According to the Cash Money Records rapper, E-40 and his crew were drinking a concoction called Gorilla Milk that left them so incapacitated that they had to go back to their hotel to recover.
"I don't know what alcohol it's mixed with but I think it was Yahoo mixed with something, they call it Gorilla Milk," said Juvenile at around the 18-minute mark. "They killed my partner. My partner was done for like three, four day...Him and his brothers they was drinking it like it was nothing. You can't drink with E-40 and them bro. I don't know if he drink like that no more but back in the G, boy him and Muggs they'll kill you bro. They'll drink you under the table."
The show's host confirmed he reached out to E-40, who said the whole story was true and that he suffered the worst hangover of his life. Juvenile added that Daz Dillinger and a few other stars were there but didn't appear in the final cut of the music video.
40 Water knows a thing or two about cocktails as he launched his own wine and spirit company, Earl Stevens Selections in 2013. The company started as an independent project and blew up off social media which led to a distribution deal in 2021 with Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits that puts his collection of wine and spirits in 41 out of 50 states in the US.
