Bobbi Althoff is back with a new project, and this time, Drake is helping set the stage.
On Friday, Althoff revealed her upcoming podcast, seemingly named Not This Again, with a teaser featuring the Toronto superstar himself. In the clip, Althoff and Drake stroll hand-in-hand toward the podcast set before he introduces the show.
“Welcome to a much more refined, poised and pleasant podcast,” Drake says in the trailer, only for the two to immediately fall into some deadpan banter over the proper way to open the program.
Althoff eventually cuts through with her own tongue-in-cheek greeting: “Welcome to the first episode of my new podcast, that no one asked for, Not This Again.”
The announcement marks Althoff's return to the podcast world following the end of her first platform, The Really Good Podcast, which featured awkward yet meme-worthy interviews with figures like Drake, Lil Yachty, and Mark Cuban.
"All right, guys, I don't think there's any really good way to say this, but this is the last episode of The Really Good Podcast," she said in the last episode that aired in July. "I think I should take my glasses off to say it, too... So, today, we're gonna put on a little funeral for it."
She added, "She was a great podcast. She got me this house, got me the car I drive, she got me a lot of stuff. She was really great. I really did appreciate her for the time I had with her. She brought me a lot of memories and a lot of great guests. She got me a few interviews taken down… I'm going to miss her. And I will miss doing this podcast, and I will miss the money this podcast brought me. But more importantly, you guys will miss it because you guys are the fans."
The episode with Drake on her first podcast went viral after it was suddenly removed from YouTube. People ended up believing that Drake and Althoff had an issue with each other that led to the episode being pulled, but it appears all is good between them.
