Diddy's close associates are supposedly working on trying to get him a pardon from President Donald Trump. According to a report from Rolling Stone, some of Diddy's friends and allies have been reaching out to officials on Trump's team since his second term began. Sources have stated that these conversations are preliminary and that people on Diddy's side are "making connections with the Trump team" to get him a pardon.

Diddy's friends and allies are going for a home run with these conversations as they reportedly played on the idea that Diddy and Trump are friends and two peas in a pod who have been "unfairly targeted" by the federal government and prosecutors, while adding they both have dealt with sexual assault allegations that each have deemed false.

It's important to note that there is no report that Trump is aware of these conversations, and he hasn't publicly commented on Diddy's criminal charges or prosecution. However, sources told Rolling Stone some senior Trump officials are privy to the situation but are moving with reservations due to the severity of Diddy's charges.

A source who has known Diddy for over ten years told Rolling Stone that he's "willing to do anything to get out of jail" and that he will "do what he has to do" to get out of any situation. The source also made it clear that Diddy doesn't like Trump.

Interestingly enough, Diddy's longtime rival Suge Knight believes he will "be all right" despite facing serious prison time. Knight recently said that he believes Trump will "probably" pardon Diddy if he's convicted in the trial, but doesn't think Cassie is lying about her testimony.

Diddy is currently on trial and facing federal charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. He's facing 15 years in prison if convicted.
