Rapper Armani White was arrested on Sunday (Oct. 12) after allegedly dancing on top of a concrete barrier in the middle of a highway during a music video shoot.

The “Billie Eilish” artist, given name Enoch Tolbert, was booked in Laurel County, Kentucky, for disorderly conduct in the second degree and stopping, standing, or parking on a limited access highway.

Police in London, Kentucky, responded to 911 calls that reported someone jumping onto a concrete barrier in the middle of Interstate Highway 75, TMZ reported.

According to arrest records viewed by Complex, he was released within a few hours, and charges were still pending. The 29-year-old’s mugshot showed him without the signature beads he normally wears in his braids.

Armani, who’s 29 and from Philadelphia, signed to Def Jam Recordings in 2023, after which he released Road to Casablanco, which included breakout hit “Billie Eilish.”

His earlier EP Things We Lost in the Fire took inspiration from a Philadelphia house fire that killed four members of his family and led to arson arrests for Armani, then in middle school, and his brother.

The siblings were released within a few months, and the charges were dropped.

“Sitting in that cell, I realized how much fire had taken away from me in my life,” the rapper said in a 2021 interview with Swidlife.
