To be very clear, when Taylor Swift sang about "wood" on her new album, most fans didn't think she was talking about actual trees.

The lyrics for the song, titled "Wood," appear to be a pretty obvious reference to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce’s manhood. It all marked an evolution in Swift’s music from break-ups and heartache to marveling over finding her soulmate and future husband.

But what does the 36-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star think about his girlfriend's musings about his family jewels? He shared his thoughts on the matter with his brother, Jason Kelce, on their New Heights podcast, and things took a humorous twist.

Travis revealed that his "wood" might not fall into the redwood forest category, although he was joking. "It'd be like Japanese Maple," he said on the podcast before adding, "Sometimes can see."

Jason then joked on the show that if someone were to write a song about his manhood, it wouldn't be a "Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see," according to TMZ.

The outlet reported that Travis didn’t seem eager to dissect the song, largely “clamming up” as his brother probed for details. However, he also indicated that he was flattered by “any song” that refers to him.

Travis later shared that his favorite track on Swift’s album The Life of a Showgirl isn’t “Wood” at all. "Opalite" and "Eldest Daughter" are his favorite songs, he said on the podcast.

Swift's "Wood" song is the shortest song on her album. It's the ninth track, and it clocks in at two and a half minutes.

TODAY pointed out that, when Swift revealed that she wrote a song named "Wood" on New Heights in August, they both laughed and Jason responded, "Nice!"

However, the song is as much about finding romantic love as it is about sex.

"Knocking on wood" is a phrase used in the song to mean she is hoping to find luck in love. However, she does sing, "New heights of manhood. I ain’t gotta knock on wood" and, "His love was the key that opened my thighs."
