Brazilian DJ/producer Mochakk has teamed up with one of UK drill’s biggest stars, Kwengface, for his new single, “Legumes”.
Mochakk’s scorching-hot house sound stands in stark contrast to Kwengface’s icy delivery, but Kweng finds the sweet spot between the two worlds, matching the pace of the track with a sure-footed, swaggering performance on the mic.
Mochakk has had a busy couple of years: from small clubs in his hometown of Sorocaba to sold-out shows across Europe and the Americas, a coveted DC-10 residency in Ibiza and acclaimed releases, his music and sets fuse house, disco, Baile funk and hip-hop—shaped as much by his love of skate/streetwear culture as by his Brazilian roots—and he’s become an in-demand name because of it.
For Kwengface, this isn’t the first time he’s found himself in dancefloor territory. Joy O and Overmono famously reworked “Freedom” into a bass-heavy, club slammer of a sequel back in 2023, and these unexpected collabs haven’t missed a step yet.
