Travis Scott Abruptly Ends Leeds Festival Headlining Set 30 Minutes Early

Some are speculating that the 'Jackboys 2' rapper might have burned his hand on some pyro during his set.

Travis Scott upset a few fans this weekend when he ended his headlining set at Leeds Festival 30 minutes early.

On Friday (August 22), the Jackboys 2 rapper began his UK performance at 9:30 p.m. local time, but after 24 songs and an hour-long set, Scott stopped performing and abruptly left the stage.

Although a reason wasn't given for his departure, one fan speculated that the Houston native potentially injured himself by getting too close to the pyrotechnics. In the video below, Scott appears to shake his hand and stop rapping after touching the flames.

But rather than explain why he left early, around midnight, Scott asked for an "over head video" of the beginning of his festival set. "Champain and dumbo that was maddd wild."

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Scott was met with boos after the performance.

"I think it’s a bit shocking that he’s just ended it like that. I thought he was going out for an outfit change or something," Pedro Marques, a festival attendee, told the outlet. "I thought the show was good otherwise but it was just a shame he ended so suddenly."

Another fan, Emily, called the matter "a bit rude" after guests were "waiting so long" to see Scott.

The rapper will return for a final headlining performance at Reading Festival (the sister festival to Leeds) on Sunday (August 24), where he'll hopefully perform for the entirety of his scheduled set.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
