Lil Wayne has expressed "love" for Kross Asghedom, the youngest son of his ex-girlfriend Lauren London and the late Nipsey Hussle.
The rapper shared his fondness of the 8-year-old on new Tha Carter VI track "Rari," which features his son, Kameron, 15, whom Weezy shares with London.
"From me to Nipsey, I love Kross like I love Kameron, n***a/ We family, n***a, Weezy F. for fine and dandy, n***a, been ballin'," Wayne raps on the song.
This isn't the first time that Wayne's shown love for Nipsey's youngest child. In 2023, he stopped by Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson's podcast All the Smoke. While in the studio, Weezy saw a portrait of Nipsey on the wall and shared it with Kameron on FaceTime and asked him if Kross was awake to show him the mural.
Three years before, Wayne was interviewed by Fat Joe on Instagram Live and recalled that when Nipsey died, Kameron became the "man of the damn house."
"He took that driver's seat and he gone. I can't even see him no more he's so far up the highway."
Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed on March 31, 2019, just one year after the release of his debut album Victory Lap. The rapper dated London from 2013 until his death. Besides Kross, he also had a daughter, Emani, 16, whom he shares with former girlfriend Tanisha Foster.
Along with Kameron, Lil Wayne has three other children, Reginae Carter, 26, with ex-wife Toya Carter, Dwayne Michael Carter III, 16, with Sarah Vivian, and Neal Carter, 15, with Nivea.
