On the third day of the highly publicized sex trafficking trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, more details of the extent of the abuse he allegedly subjected ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura to came to light.
Ventura took the stand to testify on Wednesday (May 14), where she further detailed the alleged physical abuse Combs inflicted upon her.
One incident, she recalled, happened in Los Angeles right before she traveled to Drake's OVO Fest.
She testified that she was packing and fell asleep when Combs entered her home. Two friends, who she identified as Deonte and Mia, were present.
She said that Diddy began yelling at the three of them about Cassie being asleep and not packing.
Then, she said, Deonte and Mia jumped on the mogul's back. He threw Cassie down onto a bedframe, she continued, causing a significant gash on the side of her eyebrow. She alleged that Combs had his security take her to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills to fix it.
Ventura shared a text she sent to Combs, consisting of a photo of the injury and the message, "So you can remember."
"I wanted him to be sorry about it," she said.
The mogul texted a response, saying, "You don't know when to stop" and that "you pushed it too far."
Cassie responded back via text, "Just say sorry."
The courtroom then saw a photo of Cassie at the OVO Fest with French Montana. She explained that she had styled her hair in such away so as to cover the gash. That eyebrow, she says, now has a permanent scar.
Shortly after the festival, the now 38-year-old then said she went to the Hamptons because Combs wanted to have another “freak off” there, which is what he called his drug-fueled sex parties, which were allegedly attended by escorts.
Ventura recalled taking GHB, a depressant, and falling into a “G-hole.” She alleged that she woke up nude in the shower of their hotel with Diddy and an escort, who she knew as "Dave," both "freaking out."
Immediately afterwards, she said, "we had a freak off."
Combs and Ventura dated from 2007 to 2018. She filed a lawsuit against him in 2023, alleging rape, sex trafficking and physical abuse. The following day, the pair reached a settlement for $20 million — a much-reported figure that she confirmed Wednesday on the witness stand. The lawsuit spurred a chain reaction of similar lawsuits from multiple victims. Diddy was arrested and indicted in September 2024, and his trial began on May 5, 2025.
