Consequence isn’t letting his feud with Pusha T simmer.
TMZ caught up with the 192 Records boss, who had more fiery barbs for both the outlet and King Push.
“Shout-out to Pusha-TMZ. We outside, what up?” Consequence said.
When asked if he’s a better rapper than Push, Cons didn’t hesitate. “I have the No. 1 pen. It’s not No. 2, it’s not No. 3, it’s not no other number.”
He then dissed Push’s lyrics from the Let God Sort Em Out album cut, “Ace Trumpets.” “And besides that, didn’t he tell y’all, ‘Yellow diamonds look like peepee’?”
On that song, Pusha—who was once G.O.O.D. Music’s president—alludes to Ye, appearing to mock his YZY brand with a line about long shipping times. Pusha also seems to take a dig at Ye when mentioning “interviews,” possibly a nod to Ye recently commenting on Push.
Pusha parted ways with Ye and G.O.O.D. Music in late 2022. In May, Ye took to X, writing, “I miss me and Pusha’s friendship.”
Consequence’s latest jab follows his appearance on Hot 97 last week, where he initially reignited his longstanding beef with Push. Cons used the moment to share alleged text messages between Ye and Push, calling the latter a hypocrite, before unexpectedly leaving the interview.
"One of the reasons why we didn't have a 'song of the summer,'" Consequence said, "is because the sound bite of the summer was, 'I don't respect Kanye as a man,' performed by Pusha T and his brother Malice, known as the Clipse."
Consequence also read the private text messages aloud, in which Ye allegedly expressed being hurt over Push’s feud with Drake, explaining that the situation caused "harm" to Ye and his family. In his response, the Clipse rapper apologized to Ye, but said he was also “protecting” his family and his brand.
Consequence slammed Pusha for contradicting himself.
"He actually said in his own words, 'Sorry for any trauma I've caused you and your family.' Where I'm from, if you're willing to apologize to someone, that would mean you respect them," he said. "So if you're running a rollout based on not respecting someone and you're a man, but you know that you already apologized to this man, then are you being honest with your base? Are you being honest to the world? Is this a real feeling or is this contrived for marketing?"
The pair has been beefing since 2011, when Consequence accused Push of biting his rap style and dissed him on the track, "The Plagiarist Society."
And as for yellow diamonds that look like urine, Complex had to dig deeper into their existence. Watch the video below.
