Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX stop in Los Angeles had no shortage of big moments. Still, one in particular took over timelines: Kayla Nicole joining him onstage for a highly unfiltered rendition of “Take You Down.”

It went down Sunday, September 14, at the SoFi Stadium, where he had a two-night run. Midway through the set, Brown pulled Nicole from the crowd, and the two locked into a performance that was equal parts choreography and straight-up grinding.

Videos show Brown laying Nicole back on the red stage platform while the two moved in sync, drawing screams from the sold-out arena. Fans online didn’t hold back either, with one blunt recap: “She was throwing it all the way back. My God.”

The moment landed during the Fantasy act of Brown’s 2½-hour show, which Billboard praised as a career-spanning flex packed with hits like “Run It!” “No Guidance,” and “Under the Influence.” But for the L.A. crowd, it was the Nicole cameo that instantly became the night’s sure-to-be-viral moment.

Nicole’s appearance comes just days after her name popped up in headlines at New York Fashion Week.

Asked about ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce’s engagement to Taylor Swift, the sports reporter brushed it off: “Oh, no, no, no,” per E! News, while confirming she’s currently single.

She’s been open about how difficult it’s been navigating the breakup’s fallout, telling Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test earlier this year that the constant comparisons to Swift left her questioning her self-worth.

Now, she’s leaning into her own spotlight. Sunday’s performance was as much about Brown celebrating 20 years in the game as it was Nicole showing she’s moved on and unbothered. As one fan put it after the clip hit socials: “Nice to see Kayla out here living, not stuck in Travis’ shadow.”
