Mexican rapper Natanael Cano, one of the pioneers of the corridos tumbados movement, has unleashed his hard-hitting new album, Porque La Demora.
Released via Rancho Humilde and Warner Music Latina, the project sees the 24-year-old staking his claim as one of the most exciting rappers to come out of Mexico. He's joined by a number of high-profile guests on the project, including Gabito Ballesteros, Myke Towers, FloyyMenor, Eladio Carrión, and Victor Mendivil.
Porque La Demora serves as the follow-up to Cano's 2023 album Nata Montana. He's been anything but quiet in the interim, however, teaming up with some of the biggest names in Spanish-language rap with some singles with the likes of Peso Pluma and Tito Double P last year.
Since he dropped his smash hit “Soy El Diablo” in 2019, Natanael Cano has pushed the boundaries of regional Mexican music by blending it with global urban sounds. His new project, Porque La Demora, showcases his evolution while honoring his roots, solidifying his role as a leader in contemporary Latin music from Mexico.
