Amid leaked jail phone calls that have been the talk of the internet, Young Thug issued a lengthy apology in his new track Man I Miss My Dogs, released on Thursday. In it, he addressed several topics, including apologizing to his longtime girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist, revealing that Lil Baby has not been answering his phone calls, and more. The rapper shared the lyrics on Instagram and released the video for the song.

"Baby, I'm sorry. One of my biggest fears is losing you to the internet," he says to Mariah. "Waking up in our bed with you right by my neck. Saving don't you break a sweat. Pillow talking ain't my game. Pillow talking ain't my name. Pillow talking ain't my name. Baby, I love you. I know you see this rain. I know you feel my pain."

"Look at these n***as bashing me like Jesus cause I made it," he continues. "Look at all this shit we've been through, baby crying in Mercedes. Fuck a jail call, I was playing, I'd never trade you. You was encouraging me on my bad days.

Elsewhere, Thug apologizes to Mariah for "being a part of these hoes laughing" at her. "I'm sorry for being a part of these hoes laughing at you," he said. "I'm sorry for taking you from who bao you Just to put you through this madness. I'm the reason you crashing."

In another portion of his apology, Thug showed love to Drake for visiting him in jail and revealed that he contacted Metro Boomin, who was beefing with Drizzy over a personal issue disclosed last year, in an attempt to get him and Future on the same page.

"Love to my n***as still with us. Those that stay down through rough waters can relate," he wrote. "Feel like my future ain't shit. It is what it is. Drizzy, you my brother. You know I ain't going against you. Came to visit me at Cobb County like my kin do. Fuck the jail call, you know the other calls we had."

He continued: "Trying to get you, Metro, and Pluto on the same page. The internet don't know about it because real n****s don't say. Real n****s do I called Metro on the phone and told him let it go."

Drake seemed to give his unofficial stamp of approval to Thug's latest music, hitting the like button on the Atlanta rapper's Instagram post, as seen below.

The rapper's Instagram post containing lyrics to his new song comes amid leaked jail calls from Young Thug in recent days, which touch on his feelings about Gunna, frustrations with Drake, and comments about GloRilla. He recently addressed the calls with podcast host Big Bank.

On a leaked call with Mariah the Scientist, Young Thug called GloRilla unattractive, saying she had a “big ass head” and “big mouth,” adding that he “would not pursue her.” After the call surfaced, Thug apologized on X, writing, “first of all I’m sorry to u for my words and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all, I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life.. I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did.. I’m sorry to u twin.”

Thug also revealed that the release date of his upcoming album UY SCUTI is September 19.
