Playboi Carti’s MUSIC continues to do massive numbers.
Carti’s latest album officially claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for a second straight week thanks to its 131,000 equivalent album units, according to Billboard.
The success of the album also gained some help with a deluxe edition, MUSIC - Sorry 4 Da Wait, which included four new songs and was released on Tuesday.
For MUSIC’s second week, the album’s streaming equivalent units (SEA) comprised 124,000 with 171.02 million on-demand official streams of the songs. While the album sold 7,000 copies, Billboard did not specify its track equivalent units (TEA).
Carti's latest made its debut with the biggest opening week for a rap album this year.
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s I Said I Love You First trails behind, making its debut at No. 2 with 120,000 equivalent album units. The collaborative album marks Gomez’s seventh top 10 album and Blanco’s first.
The chart also included previous No. 1 entries such as Kendrick Lamar’s GNX at No. 3, followed by Partynextdoor and Drake’s $ome $exy $ongs 4 U at No. 4, and SZA’s SOS at No. 5.
Rounding out the top 10 were Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet, Lady Gaga’s Mayhem, Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos, Tate McRae’s So Close to What, and Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time.
