Offset got involved in an exchange with fans online over his breakup with Cardi B.
On Tuesday, the Migos alum responded to a post on X that mocked his girlfriend, Atlanta model Melanie Jayda, for old tweets that showed she was a fan of Cardi’s and implied she was excited about dating her “leftovers.”
“Offset should feel like an ass, he think he hurting Cardi when the only reason why he getting bitches is because he was married to Cardi B,” wrote another fan in the thread. “Bitches be thirsty and clout chasers.”
“Incorrect lol I’m him,” Offset, 33, replied in a since-deleted tweet.
In a separate post, another user accused Set of “operating from a bruised ego.”
“Cardi not only moved on, she upgraded. Nothing hurts a n***a pride and ego more than watching a woman they fumbled multiple times leveling up the playing field with another man who is better looking and has more money than them,” the user wrote.
“You bitches delulu wouldn't I be the perfect n***a If.....stop talking bout money baby u delusional,” responded Offset before also deleting the tweet.
Cardi, 32, filed for divorce from Offset in Aug. 2024, shortly before giving birth to their third child. Their divorce negotiations are seemingly ongoing, with the "Enough" rapper implying he didn't want to sign the papers over a dispute related to the custody rights for their children.
He spent Christmas away from Cardi and their three children and was later seen kissing Jayda during a New Year’s performance in Dubai.
The pair were also spotted shopping together at Chanel on New Year’s Day, reportedly spending $100,000.
On Valentine’s Day, Offset released a new song called “Ten,” with lyrics seemingly aimed at Cardi, such as, “You gon’ have to fuck about 10 more n****s to get over me.”
That same day, Cardi was seen with NFL player Stefon Diggs, arriving at a Miami hotel together. This was their second public outing that week, following another nightclub appearance in New York City.
