Kodak Black Fans Concerned After He Calls Himself a ‘Young N***a With a Meth Habit’

The Florida rapper doubled down on his alleged drug use in a new freestyle.

Kodak Black has left some fans very concerned after comments he made about his drug use during a new freestyle.

In the latest On The Radar episode, which was shared on Wednesday (May 21) and also features Just Brittany and Taylor So Made, Kodak raps a troubling lyric around the 53-second mark (see the video above), where he refers to himself as a "young n***a with a meth habit."

The new lyrics come after the 27-year-old previously admitted to using meth in 2023 following his arrest in Broward County, Florida.

Fans of the rapper shared their thoughts in the comments section of the On The Radar’s Instagram post.

"So none of [yall] heard this man say, 'YN with a meth habit' ??? We just gone skip that part and drop fire emojis??" one fan wrote, while another added: "So we're just gonna ignore that he said that he's addicted to Meth."

A third fan asked for prayers for Kodak, writing: "pray for yak, he still got life left [100 emoji]."

Kodak’s criminal history includes a 2015 arrest for marijuana possession and a 2022 charge for oxycodone trafficking. In 2023, he was suspected of cocaine possession, which later turned out to be prescription oxycodone.

Earlier this month, Bradford Cohen, Kodak’s longtime lawyer, announced the rapper would be suing Maranda Johnson, the mother of his children Queen Yuri and Prince Kapri.

Johnson alleged on her Instagram Story that Kodak Black was a “dead beat BD” who was emotionally and physically abusive.

Cohen called Johnson's allegations a "money grab," claiming she was "selfish" and peddling "made up stories." He added that Kodak would be suing her for defamation, as well as for what the attorney said was six figures' worth of damage she'd done to his client's property.
