More SZA music might be on the way.
Fans who follow the “30 for 30” hitmaker on her “finsta” account know that she’s always in the studio working on music. And in one post, she hinted that she’ll be adding her magic touch to a new pop hit.
In a photo carousel shared on Sept. 19, SZA shared a screenshot of a voice note titled “Yukon Remix.” As fans know, Justin Bieber released a song called “Yukon” on his album Swag, which he released this past July. It appears SZA’s note was recorded in early August, just weeks after Swag was released.
Should this alleged remix see the light of day, it would mark the third time SZA and the Biebs have collaborated. The first was when he appeared in the video for SZA’s 2022 single “Snooze.” Bieber later appeared on a remix of the song.
In an October 2023 interview with Wall Street Journal, SZA revealed how Bieber ended up in the video. “Justin wasn't even in the video until the video was already being shot,” she said at the time. Him and Hailey [Bieber] were randomly the first people to hit me on FaceTime after [SZA’s 2022 album] SOS dropped.”
According to SZA, Bieber was very laid back and easy to work with. “[Bieber] showed up and he was down as f**k for the whole day and didn’t trip about nothing.”
Both SZA and Bieber have been on an incredible music run this year. Bieber has released two albums this year — Swag in July and Swag II earlier this month. This week, he was announced as a headliner for Coachella 2026.
Last December, SZA dropped Lana, an extended version of her sophomore album SOS, just months before performing alongside Kendrick Lamar at Super Bowl LIX. She and Lamar are co-headlining the Grand National Tour, which is set to wrap in December in Sydney.
